v6.2 removes per-file metadata versions; the overview below describes the existing version 6 architecture.
Product Org OS is the open-source edition of the licensed ProductBeacon AI Agentic Workforce. It includes the PBAW harness and product team. Version 6 carries forward version 5's decision-system foundation and makes PBAW understandable from the outside: governed product roles, explicit human decision ownership, complete professional knowledge, and a coding-agent handoff grounded in the Decision Provenance Standard.
11 product roles · 125 methods and controls · 117 knowledge files · four governed workflows
Product Org OS uses PBAW as its operating layer. Version 6 makes that layer explicit without asking first-time users to learn internal vocabulary: plan substantial work, assign the right product specialist, audit the plan or result, and remember only what has been accepted.
At runtime, /pbaw automatically selects the product roles, skills, and knowledge packs the request needs. Material work receives a written plan and verification, with owner decisions explicit before execution continues.
Governed Operating LayerProduct roles can investigate, synthesize, draft, compare alternatives, and recommend. A material choice is not silently settled by the system. The named accountable owner accepts it, and recommendation and acceptance remain separate events in the record.
The version 6 guides build on the detailed version 5 operating guide. They now speak directly to the coding agent that will install and run the system, explain Product Org OS before naming its internals, and provide a complete handoff from dry run through the first bounded product request.
